Roles
For data your organisation puts into the Service, such as incident reports, CAPAs, training records and camera alerts, your organisation is the data fiduciary and decides how that data is used. We process it on your organisation's behalf and only on its instructions.
For data collected through this website, such as signup and contact forms, we decide how it is used and are responsible for it.
What we collect
- Account details: name, work email, designation, company, plant location and the modules you choose
- Plant records entered by users: incidents, near-misses, investigations, CAPAs, audits, legal register entries and evidence files
- Training records: worker or contractor ID, role, training completed, certificate scans and expiry dates
- AI Hazard Eye alerts: short video clips or still frames of unsafe conditions, with camera, area and time
- Usage data: log-ins, pages used, device and browser type, and error logs used to keep the Service reliable
What we do not collect
- We do not use face recognition or build biometric profiles of workers
- Anonymous incident reports are stored without the reporter's name, phone number or account
- We do not collect data for advertising and do not use advertising trackers inside the Service
How we use information
- To provide the Service: record events, route actions, send reminders and produce scorecards
- To set up accounts and send login credentials and onboarding details
- To review and tune AI Hazard Eye cameras for your plant, using your plant's alerts only
- To provide support, investigate faults and keep the Service secure
- To meet legal obligations such as tax and accounting records
Security
- Encryption of data in transit and at rest
- Role-based access so each user sees only their plant and their responsibilities
- Audit logs of who viewed, changed or exported records
- Optional on-site edge processing so camera video stays within the plant
Retention
Plant records are kept for as long as your organisation's subscription is active, or for the period your organisation sets, so statutory registers and investigation records remain available. AI Hazard Eye clips are kept for the retention period set by your plant and then deleted. When a subscription ends, your organisation can export its data for 30 days, after which it is deleted from active systems and from backups within a further 90 days.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or erase your personal data, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Workers whose data is held by their employer should contact their employer first; we will support the employer in responding. For website data, write to us through the Safety Cell page and we will respond within the time required by law.
Changes and contact
If we change this policy in a way that affects how your data is used, we will notify account administrators before the change takes effect. Questions or complaints can be sent through the Safety Cell page.
