03 Legal Register
Every law on time.Every licence on file.
A plant lives with dozens of licences, consents, returns and statutory examinations, each with its own date and its own authority. The Legal Register lists what applies to your plant, warns you before each date and keeps the proof in one place for the next inspection.

How it works
Three steps on the shop floor.
- 01
Build the register
Answer a short plant profile: industry, state, worker count, hazardous processes, boilers, effluent and emissions. A starting register is drafted from it.
- 02
Confirm and assign
Your EHS team confirms which items apply, adds licence numbers and validity dates, and assigns an owner to each.
- 03
Stay ahead
Reminders go out 90, 60 and 30 days before each date. Evidence such as the renewed licence or filed return is attached on completion.
What Legal Register does.
Factory and safety
Factory licence, plan approval, statutory registers, safety committee, health checks and examinations of lifts, hoists, lifting tackle and pressure vessels.
Environment
Consent to Establish and Consent to Operate conditions under the Water and Air Acts, environmental statements, hazardous waste returns and monitoring reports.
Fire
Fire NOC and periodic fire safety certificates under state fire safety law, with fire drill and equipment records.
Labour returns
Annual and half-yearly returns, contract labour registers and other periodic filings, tracked by due date.
Evidence vault
Licences, test certificates and acknowledgements stored against the requirement they prove, ready for an inspector.
Consent conditions
Each condition in your consent order becomes a tracked line, so monitoring frequencies and limits are not forgotten.
Written for Indian plants
The register starts from the laws that commonly apply to manufacturing and warehousing in India, and it is updated as new rules are notified.
- Factories Act, 1948 and state factory rules
- Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions Code, 2020, as its rules are notified
- Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981
- Environment (Protection) Act, 1986 and its rules
- Hazardous and Other Wastes Rules, 2016 and chemical accident rules
- State fire prevention and life safety law
Where responsibility sits
Excelehs tracks requirements, dates and evidence. Your plant stays responsible for compliance, for confirming what applies, and for filing with the authority.
- Applicability is confirmed by your team
- Not a substitute for legal advice
- Changes in law are flagged for your review
- Full history of who confirmed what, and when
